SUMMARYThe Entertainment Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our entertainment venues and events. This includes managing staff, scheduling performers, negotiating contracts, handling finances, and ensuring that all aspects of the entertainment experience are of high quality.

The ideal candidate for this role should have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a background in event planning, marketing, or hospitality. They should be able to work well under pressure and have a creative mindset to bring new and innovative ideas to the table. Additionally, they should have knowledge of the entertainment industry and be up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies. Past work with Latin entertainment would be an advantage. 

 

Position Responsibilities:

  •  Must have overall knowledge of entertainment department – experience with booking acts, with entertainment contracts, merchandising settlements and box office operations.
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Be able to work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke, and be able to access all areas of the property, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Create, coordinate and implement initiatives to grow every aspect of Primm Valley Casino Resorts properties and brand via social media and additional avenues.
  • Drive brand awareness utilizing all available platforms to publish Primm Valley Casino Resorts content to grow audiences and awareness.
  • Create content and review to ensure accuracy, that it is up to date, and within brand image.
  • Coordinate online presence to include email, A-Play app, and social media scheduling.
  • Participate in all property special events, concerts, off-site events as photographer, videographer, and property representative.
  • Review online guest comments as the lead point person to seek resolutions directly or escalate to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Other responsibilities to be determined by the Vice President of Marketing.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES  

Directly manages team of Usher/Host to include hire, train, coach, schedule, etc.

 

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Enthusiasm, creativity, vision, energy for the business and Primm Valley Casino Resorts.
  • Must be highly organized and have excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • Must have knowledge of social media communities.
  • Must have understand geofencing.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays. 
  • All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

  • High school graduation or equivalent.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 

  • Nevada Gaming Registration
  • Driver License

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS 

  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English; bilingual Spanish.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, public communications, etc. 
  • Ability to effectively present information to small - large groups and respond to questions. 

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 

  • Nevada Gaming Registration
  • Driver License

LANGUAGE SKILLS 

Must be able to effectively communicate in English, bilingual Spanish preferred. 

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.   

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
