SUMMARY: Directs personnel assigned to casino operations on a shift basis.  Advises all other departments in regards to customer relations in absence of department manager on a shift basis.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Safeguard the assets of the company.
  2. Implement casino department policies and procedures as directed by the Casino Manager.
  3. Manage, direct, and supervise on a shift basis, all personnel assigned to casino operations.
  4. Handle customer relations and disputes.
  5. Ensure compliance with federal and state currency reporting requirements.
  6. Ensure all department staff uniforms, appearance, and grooming standards are maintained.
  7. Any reasonable request by the Casino Manager or General Manager.
  8. Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies.
  9. Keep your work area clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
  10. Perform all job functions in a safe and responsible manner.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations. Excellent customer service and employee skills are essential. .  Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.  Must present a well-groomed and professional  appearance. Must be at least 21 years of age.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required.  Must have gaming knowledge which should include the actual dealing and supervising of all table games.  Must have a broad knowledge of casino rules, internal controls, regulations and procedures with strong organizational, communication and leadership skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
