Latin American Executive Casino Host
Description
SUMMARY: The Casino Host enhances the growth of gaming revenues through the development of our Latin American customer base; making relationships with valued players and marketing our gaming product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain close ties with targeted guests through personal contact by phone, email, and in person.
- Greets guests in casino and participates in casino events and promotions.
- Anticipates guests’ needs and quickly responds to requests.
- Effectively uses telemarketing, mail, email and other marketing techniques to increase visitation patterns among target customers.
- Uses sound judgment and comps in accordance with established comping procedures.
- Handles all guests in situations in a calm, professional manner.
- Maintains a high level of visibility with our guests.
- Spends time on the casino floor to sign up new players.
- Understands the competitive environment and can promote and explain the benefit features of the A-Play club.
- Understands how casinos make money and appreciates the impact of their own work on profits.
- Maintains an open line of communication with Supervisors and Managers concerning all Guest Service related issues.
- Other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum one-year experience in a host or marketing role in a similar local’s property. 2+ years host experience dealing with high-end slots/table clientele strongly preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and Alcohol Awareness Card required
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English and Spanish.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
