The role of the Head of Acquisition Marketing is to develop comprehensive digital acquisition marketing growth strategy for DRF Sportsbook and Cashgrab. The position oversees strategy, execution, optimization, and analysis to build a scalable business, continuously maximizing current programs, and testing and scaling new efforts. Candidate must be data savvy and a successful collaborator, bringing data to the narratives to influence growth. 

The role requires the candidate to have proven track record in acquisition marketing, strong analytical, strategic, organizational, and creative skills. 


  • Develop and own the acquisition marketing strategy for sports betting and Cashgrab. 
  • Set annual, quarterly and monthly KPIs for the team, and track results on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to provide insight into acquisition targets and ensure we are spending money wisely
  • Oversee all media buying activities, including identifying new sources of customer acquisition, researching new areas of media, creative, and messaging to increase spend efficiency
  • Manage and mentor acquisition team members, and drive a culture of continual analysis, testing, experimentation, and optimization
  • Collaborate with and complement the work of our full Marketing Team (CRM, Brand, Product Marketing, and Content) to ensure we’re achieving maximum results 
  • Build strategic and trusted relationships across the organization, particularly with Analytics, Product, Content and Technology, as we think about adequate resourcing and support of our initiatives
  • Partner with agencies and other external partners, negotiating to get the most for our investment and building strong long-term relationships
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, preferably in sports betting, horse racing, gaming or gambling
  • Strong analytical abilities with a passion for data-informed decision making
  • Experience efficiently scaling digital (e.g. SEM, Display, Paid Social, Affiliate) marketing channels
  • Success in managing agencies and other external partners to receive optimal value
  • Understand the fundamental concepts of a recurring revenue business and its various acquisition and retention tactics.
  • Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
