The Guest Service Supervisor provides assistance and leadership to the Guest Service Representatives.    

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Provide assistance and leadership to the Guest Service Center guest and representatives. Communicates all relevant information to team and management.
  2. Maintains monthly reporting of hotel and casino events.
  3. Observes performance of staff. Provides feedback and counseling as necessary.
  4. Respond to all guest inquiries. Provide guest satisfaction through assistance, direction and information.
  5. Resolve complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
  6. Promotes A-Play promotions; assist with casino events and promotions, as required.
  7. Understands the competitive environment and can promote and explain the benefits of Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino and the A-Play Club.
  8. Other related duties as assigned.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Responsible for a team of 5-10 Guest Service Representatives on assigned shift. Supervisory responsibilities include coaching and counseling, issuing rewards and discipline, and being able to step in as a Guest Service Representative as needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required. Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, Hotel Administration or similar field strongly preferred. Minimum one year experience in either a hotel, casino, or marketing department in a similarly sized property strongly preferred.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Nevada Gaming Control Board registration required.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English. The ability to speak other languages is strongly preferred.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

Microsoft Office skills required. Knowledge of Opera and Patron systems strongly preferred.
