SUMMARY:            

The Usher/Host will provide assistance to guests during property events ensuring their positive experience at the property while abiding by related rules and regulations. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet patrons and direct to entrance to the venue.
  • Assist guest through the metal detector process.
  • Assist guests in bringing up tickets on their phones.
  • Check/Scan tickets and provide guidance to seats.
  • Show patrons where to find exits, bathrooms, and concession stands.
  • Seat patrons in an orderly fashion.
  • Distribute programs or event schedules.
  • Ensure everyone adheres to safety rules.
  • Hold doors open for patrons as they exit.
  • Clean immediate area and place debris in trash receptacles. 
  • Alert supervision to spills.
  • Handle complaints/suggestions and relay to management. 
  • Provide assistance to patrons with special needs.
  • Light the way with flashlights when patrons leave their seats.
  • Ensure exit pathways are clear and properly lit.
  • Help patrons down stairs or onto ramps.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

Excellent communication and people skills required for working with guests.
