VP- General Manager
Description
Reporting to the CEO, the VP General Manager is responsible for the overall direction and leadership of the property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures based on company strategy.
- Develop and manage with the companies CFO, the approved annual budgets for Casino operations.
- Responsible for increasing customer service scores on a year over year basis.
- Ensures the property offers a high quality and consistent food and beverage offering.
- Assist in the preparation, negotiation, implementation, and monitoring on a timely basis, contracts and agreements that will enable the Casino to achieve its goals and objectives.
- Provide monthly financial and department status reports and coordinate the satisfactory completion of financial and performance audits of the Casino.
- Works closely with Corporate Marketing, Finance, Operations and Human Resources in implementing company strategic and tactical plans.
- Maintains a good working relationship with Gaming Regulators and functions as the company’s community representative.
- Ensures compliance with company standards and gaming regulations.
- Responsible for property P&L, employee turnover and customer service scores.
- Hires, develops and manages department directors and other management personnel.
- Has signature authority for all operational aspects of the property.
- Addresses customer and employee issues and creates a great environment for customers and employees.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overall direction and leadership of the property.
- Direct reports include all department heads – approx. 8 to 15, depending on property

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree and several years’ experience as a Casino General Manager in smaller casino properties or AGM/VP Operations for large casino company.
- Must have in-depth knowledge and experience running slot operations.

- Must be able to obtain any and all required licenses.
