The Bartender prepares and serves drinks to guests and beverage servers in compliance with all Company and health department standards and policies. This position is responsible for processing transactions using our Point-Of-Sale system and for any cash variances. This position ensures that the bar is fully stocked, with no product overages or shortages, and that intoxicated guests are not served. 


  • Ring in all customer drinks at the point of sale.
  • Practice Genuine Service with all internal and external customers.
  • Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
  • Follow and enforce alcohol expectations and guidelines.
  • Clean all glassware and keep the bar area clean.
  • Rotate stock.
  • Check all draught beers to ensure they're all in correct working order.
  • Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
  • Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers’ excessive drinking by taking steps such as persuading customers to stop drinking.
  • Plan, organize, and control the operations of the bar area.
  • Serve snacks or food items to customers seated at the bar.
  • Create drink recipes.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED. Prior bartending experience
