Exercise care in use of cleaning supplies, methods, and equipment. Follow all safety guidelines.





  • Operate a Bonnet machine.
  • Reports needed maintenance and safety hazards in assigned areas to supervisor.
  • Perform all shampoo or extraction of carpets in assigned area.
  • Scrubs, buffs, and shampoo as directed in areas assigned.
  • Prepare, polish, and Buff all floors Top scrub Floors.
  • Ensure assigned areas are kept clean and neat.
  • Use Anser machine to extract any extremely dirty furniture.
  • Clean spots and stains on furniture, sheers, drapes, bed skirts, etc.
  • Cleaning a guest rooms when necessary. Perform other job related duties as assigned.

  • Be in excellent physical conditions to twist, lift, kneel, bend, push, pull, reach overhead, and maneuver without restrictions to perform job duties and among tables, chairs, railing, and other various obstructions while performing job duties, as well as, move and arrange various pieces of furniture, such as a sofa or desk.
  •  Effectively maneuver a bonnet machine weighing ninety (90) pounds to one hundred twelve (112) pounds full of liquid (4 gallons), maneuver a grinding & polishing marble machine weighing one hundred forty (140) pounds to two hundred fifty (250) pounds full of liquid (4 gallons) and transport cleaning material and equipment.
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and occasional noisy environment with constant dirt, dust, smoke, and fumes.
  • Must have the ability to work indoors, with frequent cold or warm temperatures, being exposed to such environmental conditions as chemicals.




  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months experience operating various floor care machines such as extractors & foam machine, knowledge to properly polish marble, granite, and terrazzo floors, strip and wax linoleum floors, properly operate shampooing machines, use of cleaning supplies and methods.
  • Previous experience with textiles & their care preferred.





Must be able to effectively communicate in English.



Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
