As the Slot Shift Supervisor you will assist in the supervision of the Slot Attendants on an assigned shift along with ensuring that the Slot Attendants are providing consistent high levels of customer service.

Expected Contributions include and other duties may be assigned:
  • Responsible for assisting Slot Shift Supervisor in upholding an efficient Slot operation during an assigned shift.
  • Monitor employee activities and report activities to Slot Shift Supervisor(s).
  • Observe activities in the Slot Department areas, watching for irregularities.
  • Ensure Slot Machines are functioning properly and the machines are played legitimately.
  • Assist personnel and monitor breaks ensuring proper coverage and efficient service for Slot guests.
  • Monitor machine payouts, to ensure appropriate amounts are being paid to guests.
  • Shall act as a signatory on jackpots as outlined by Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Must know and enforce all policies and procedures regarding the security of monies, parts, equipment, and required documentation.
  • Utilize effective communication to ensure consistent, accurate and timely information is provided through all shifts.
  • Model professional behavior and appearance; ensure compliance with established standards, rules, and regulations of the Slot Department.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests and communicate professionally at all times.
  • Assist in other projects, as directed.
  • Ensure proper department uniform, appearance and grooming standards are followed.
  • Attend all company required training.
  • Comply with Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines.
  • Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines.
  • Meet company attendance requirements.
  • May be required to work days, nights weekends and holidays.
  • Train all new employees to the assigned shift to ensure that these employees receive the proper knowledge to perform their duties at an acceptable level.
  • Delegate assignments to ensure all functions of the shift are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Excellent employee and customer service skills are essential.
 
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Must be able to obtain and maintain and Iowa Gaming License.
