The Guest Room Attendant  is responsible for cleaning, sanitize and stock hotel guest rooms during or following a guest’s stay.
Expected Contributions include and other duties may be assigned:
  • Cleaning assigned rooms that day to include making bed(s), wiping down furniture, cleaning the restroom, vacuuming the floor and stocking the toiletries.
  • Taking dirty laundry to the laundry room.
  • Keeping housekeeping cart stocked and organized.
  • Communicating with the Supervisor when guests needs arise.
  • Accommodating guest requests as needed.
  • Cleaning lobby and common areas.
  • Understanding proper chemical use and sanitization procedures.
  • Maintain open communication with Supervisors and Managers concerning all Housekeeping concerns.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with fellow Team Members, Guests and Vendors.
  • Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner. 
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Excellent employee and customer service skills are essential.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Must be able to obtain and maintain and Iowa Gaming License.
