Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Primary point of contact to handle customer payments received in the mail, to include the timely and accurate processing of such payments into our system of record.
  • Work with internal departments to resolve consumer requests timely and accurately.
  • Sort and distribute interoffice mail to corresponding group(s).
  • Timely completion of all tasks including, but not limited to, payment processing, customer responses, debt validation responses and others.
  • Check daily and request replenishment, as necessary, all mail and postage supplies.
  • Receive all UPS/Fed-Ex/ DHL packages that are delivered. Secure and log all packages and received mailed items in the designated log.
  • Prepare written documentation for follow-up or due diligence. 
  • Other operational duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
  • High school or equivalent
  • Ability to work well at all levels of the organization from executive and down, both in a team setting and as an individual contributor
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Sound judgement and the ability to make reasonable decisions in the absence of direction
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Highly detail oriented with high degree of accuracy
  • Receptive to coaching from management, responds positively with willingness to make changes when desired
  • Strong, professional communication skills in listening, speaking, and writing necessary for communication with staff, service providers and coworkers over the phone, in person, and via e-mail
  • Stable work history
