The role audits the processes involving Merchant Onboarding, Merchant Operations, and Merchant Oversight.  This role is faster than average pace and requires an efficient, detail-oriented individual who understands the importance of team and building lasting relationships. The Merchant Review Specialist will be responsible for identification and correction of errors in the day-to-day activities of the dealer onboarding, Merchant Performance, and Merchant Oversight teams. The Merchant Review Specialist will also be responsible for reviewing and decisioning merchant files within the application/onboarding process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Daily audit of new merchant set-ups, communicating issues to the Onboarding Team Manager for correction.
  • Daily audit of various compliance reports communicating issues to corresponding teams for correction.
  • Ensure merchant account changes handled by the Merchant Performance team are completed accurately according to AFF’s programs and policies. Communicate corrections needed to corresponding team manager.
  • Assist in the production of metrics and reporting around all audit/review activities.
  • Reviewing merchant documentation in SugarCRM as it relates to Merchant Documents and notations.
  • Standard Merchant Application Review and decisioning that involves close communication with the Onboarding team, at times the Sales team, for accurate execution of programs and agreements.
  • Audit Merchant Oversight documentation in trackers and SugarCRM to ensure adherence to policy.
  • Other operational duties and special projects as assigned.



  • Prior experience with Operational Audit, Quality Assurance, or similar function.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize workloads.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Detail Orientation


Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Reporting Analysis experience.
  • Fluent in Spanish (oral and written)
  • Prior experience with contract management
  • LiveVox Dialer System experience a plus
