Executive Director B2B Marketing
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Executive Director, B2B Marketing to lead our business-to-business (B2B) marketing initiatives across the full funnel, from awareness and acquisition to retention and loyalty. This role will be responsible for driving demand generation, optimizing the merchant journey, and aligning closely with Sales, Operations, and Data Science to deliver measurable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
· Own the B2B marketing funnel from awareness to retention.
· Create a library of sales enablement assets that help support the Sales team.
· Establish and achieve business goals for B2B growth and performance.
· Lead a high-performing B2B marketing team, fostering innovation and accountability.
Demand Generation & ABX
· Develop and lead demand generation strategies and account-based experience (ABX) programs.
· Align closely with Sales to ensure lead quality, pipeline growth, and conversion.
· Utilize ZoomInfo and other tools to support targeted outreach and segmentation.
Campaigns & Optimization
· Build and execute strategic marketing plans to drive merchant acquisition, retention, and loyalty.
· Conduct multi-variant testing to optimize marketing efforts, investments, and resources.
· Drive analytics and performance optimization across all marketing initiatives.
Customer Experience & Journey Mapping
· Map the merchant journey and identify opportunities for improvement.
· Collect and analyze merchant CX data and feedback to enhance the merchant experience.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, IT) to improve customer touchpoints.
Retention & Loyalty
· Build and execute plans to promote merchant referrals, retention, reactivation, and loyalty.
· Obtain merchant testimonials and create surveys to identify friction points and opportunities.
Market Intelligence & Partnerships
· Conduct competitor intelligence and market research to inform strategy.
· Manage B2B partnerships and trade publication strategy.
· Oversee tradeshow planning and execution to support brand visibility and lead generation.
Technology & Data Collaboration
· Work with Data Science to pinpoint opportunities for funnel optimization.
· Utilize automated and seasonal marketing campaigns to improve conversion across all funnel stages.
· Oversee project management to ensure timely and effective execution of initiatives.
Qualifications:
· 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
· Proven success in demand generation, ABX, and full-funnel marketing strategies.
· Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics platforms.
· Excellent collaboration skills across Sales, Operations, IT, and Data teams.
· Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and data platforms like ZoomInfo.
· Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management abilities.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience in B2B acquisition and retention strategies.
· Familiarity with CX methodologies and customer journey mapping.
· Background in trade marketing and tradeshow management.
· Strong understanding of B2B partnerships and ecosystem development.
