  • The FLoD Quality Control Analyst provides monitoring, testing, and reporting for internal controls and process to provide assurance that operational levels are met.  This role includes oversight of Risk and Controls Self-Assessment (RCSA) implementation and operations across various departments within the organization and works to promote efficient controls, risk reduction, and improve overall quality control in all operations.  FLoD Quality Control Analysts provide guidance to FLoD operations while performing individual testing and audit functions to provide assurance to Management that all monitored operational functions are working as anticipated.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Test individual processes and controls for operational performance and compliance as required
  • Monitor operational performance and compliance through continuous monitoring programs and standardized process and control reviews
  • Assist in the planning and execution of specific operational and compliance-based audits of the FLoD processes and controls to provide assurance of specific levels of performance and those desired operational characteristics are maintained.
  • Participates in weekly/monthly meetings with Business and/or IT groups to gain updates and review progress on risk reduction and remediation progress.
  • Summarizes and prepares reports for Quality Control on all current testing, audits, and identified issues from FLoD
  • Assists in FLoD testing of process and controls within the business to help develop effective repeatable process and control validation within the First Line at the business level.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with key business, IT stakeholders, team members, and other departments involved in the FLoD and RCSA programs.   Promotes a constructive, positive team environment and maintains a spirit of openness, information sharing, inquisitiveness, problem-solving, and support for our common goals.
  • Other operational duties as assigned.   


  • Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
  • Two or more years of compliance and regulatory background in financial services within operational or enterprise risk areas.
  • Good organization and follow-up skills including the ability to handle competing priorities and meet all deadlines and commitments.
  • Good understanding of Excel, Word, and Visio.
  • Experience working both independently, and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Stable work history 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the Financial Services industry in an operational capacity.
  • Fluent in Spanish (oral and written).
  • Prior experience and knowledge of installment and lease/rent-to-own agreements.
