Job Summary:
We are looking for a Director of Product Management who will be responsible for helping grow Adorama.com and eventually building out a larger shared customer experience across its sister companies: Adorama Rental Company, Adorama Business Solutions, Printique.com, Scuba.com and Sunnysports.com. You will help build the product management function at Adorama and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define the product vision, strategy and roadmap and business value. You will also be hands-on with defining requirements, prioritizing features, and launching products that delight our customers and grow our business, defining and tracking key metrics not just to measure effectiveness of new products but also managing the platform on an ongoing basis. You will report to and work closely with the Chief Technology Officer.
Responsibilities:
  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Adorama.com and its other properties, aligning with the company's goals and customer needs.
  • Hire, lead, mentor, and grow a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
  • Define clear and measurable product objectives, key results, and success metrics.
  • Collaborate with PMO, engineering, design, marketing, merchandising, sales, logistics, customer service, and other teams to deliver high-quality products that deliver end-to-end customer solutions and create business value.
  • Develop and prioritize product requirements and user stories, ensuring clear communication and collaboration between product managers and engineering teams.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, user feedback, and data-driven insights to inform product decisions and roadmap prioritization.
  • Define and monitor product performance, user behavior (i.e. journeys, conversion, AOV etc) and customer satisfaction, and use data to identify and validate new product opportunities and enhancements.
  • Present and advocate for product plans and results to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of product management experience in ecommerce or related domains, with a track record of launching and scaling successful products.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing product teams, with proven ability to hire, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Strong knowledge of ecommerce best practices, trends, and technologies, and experience working with ecommerce platforms, tools, and integrations.
  • Past P&L responsibility.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to use data and customer feedback to drive product outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to articulate product vision and strategy to various audiences.
  • Customer-focused, user-centric, and design-oriented mindset, with a passion for creating products that delight users and ultimately deliver business value.
  • Hands-on, collaborative, and entrepreneurial attitude, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
  • Bonus points for working across retail ecommerce for both physical and digital products/services.

 The salary range for this role is $200,000 to $225,000.  The rate will be determined based on overall skills and experience.
