We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Printique team.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales in the photo printing industry with a strong ability to sell to various B2B clients.  The candidate should have client/customer contacts within the industry and be adept at identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and driving sales in the B2B space.  This is an individual contributor role, and they will be laser focused on generating new business.

Responsibilities: 
  1. Leverage Client Relationships and Prospecting: Use your printing industry contacts and identify potential new clients within target industries, including photographers, business, government and education customers.  Develop and implement strategic prospecting plans to generate leads and expand our client base.  Responsible to mine databases and other sources to generate leads.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies. Understand their unique needs and challenges and provide tailored solutions to meet those needs. Supplement new business acquisition with cross selling opportunities to grow wallet share of existing accounts.
  3. Consultative Selling: Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand the specific requirements of potential clients and recommend the most appropriate photo printing solutions to meet their needs. Showcase the quality, capabilities, and value proposition of our photo printing services through effective sales presentations and demonstrations.
  4. Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of our photo printing services, including various printing techniques, materials, finishes, and customization options. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to effectively communicate the benefits of our services to potential clients.
  5. Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate pricing and terms with potential clients to secure sales. Overcome objections and address concerns to ensure a mutually beneficial outcome for both parties. Close sales in a timely manner and achieve or exceed sales targets.
  6. Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process and beyond. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, production, and delivery of photo printing projects. End-to-end ownership of ensuring the customer’s project is delivered on-time and at quality.  Provide ongoing support and maintain regular communication to foster long-term client relationships.
  7. Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including leads, prospects, opportunities, and sales pipeline. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts to track performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications: 
  • 5+ years experience with a proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a focus on selling photo printing services to a diverse range of clients.
  • Believe traditional prospecting methods (I.E. Cold-Calling) are critical for securing meetings and delivering commercial success.
  • Experience with utilizing CRM systems
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients at all levels.
  • Excellent presentation and persuasion skills, with the ability to effectively showcase the value proposition of our photo printing services to potential clients.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the photo printing industry, including printing techniques, materials, and trends, is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Hunter mentality and approach with a passion for creating new opportunities and growing existing accounts
 
This role requires four on-site days weekly to ensure in-person collaboration, improved communication, effective teamwork, and real-time problem solving to enhance team synergy and productivity. A standard 40-hour work week is expected.    
 
The salary for this role is $65,000-$85,000. The rate will be determined based on overall skills and experience. This position is eligible for a commission based off sales and business needs.
