The Opportunity
To generate new business opportunities, develop and nurture client relationships, and drive deals through the sales pipeline. The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for initial client engagement, prospecting, and managing the commercial side of the sales process, working closely with Principal Packaging & Sales Engineers (PPSE) to deliver tailored technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Generation
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet revenue targets.
- Conduct outbound prospecting (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to generate new leads and qualify inbound leads.
- Set up discovery meetings and establish relationships with potential clients.
- Drive deals from lead generation through closing, coordinating internally to ensure alignment with technical teams.
- Manage the sales pipeline using the CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and tracking.
- Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for new clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships.
- Collaborate with the PPSE to ensure the client’s commercial needs are understood and met in proposals and project scopes.
- Lead commercial negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for Adept Group and balancing client satisfaction with profitability.
- Participate in post-sale follow-up, ensuring smooth project handoffs to the delivery teams Director of Packaging.
- Collaboration and Proposal Development
- Work closely with the PPSE to define the client’s needs and craft tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with the technical team to develop proposals, ensuring they meet both the client’s commercial requirements and Adept Group’s business goals.
- Lead discussions with internal stakeholders, including the PPSE, Managing Director and Director of Packaging, to ensure alignment on pricing, scope, and timelines.
- Strategic Growth
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing non-key accounts with multiple buyers.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Adept Group’s service offerings and industry trends to position the company competitively in the marketplace.
- Contribute to thought leadership and social selling efforts by engaging with prospects via LinkedIn and other channels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least 3 years of proven experience in B2B sales of technical services-packaging related services are given preference.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to adapt and learn in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Salary: $80,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
