The Professional Services Sector: Inter-Team Collaboration for the Client's Benefit

Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Risk Officer, as a member of the Compliance and Risk team, you will work in collaboration with the members of the team on the application of the firm's compliance program and related regulations, as well as on various projects.

Your responsibilities
- Conduct regulatory monitoring and review applicable changes;
- Assit in the implementation and revision of internal Addenda policies;
- Draft and update internal documentation, i.e. all policies and procedures in terms of compliance, required under the various applicable securities regulations;
- Contribue in the review of business development / marketing material making sure to maintain a compliance point of view before the publication of this information;
- Participate in due diligence for new third-party service providers, as well as current ones;
- Collaborate in the enforcement of anti-money laundering regulations;
- Collaborate in various projects related to operational risk management.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in administration, finance, accounting, law or any other discipline or combination of disciplines deemed pertinent;
- Five (5) to ten (10) years of compliance experience related to the functions of the job;
- Strong understanding of the portfolio management sector and its operations.
- Experience interacting with external parties, regulators or auditors;
- Strong understanding of various regulations overseeing the investment markets (NI 31-103, NI 81-102, PCMLTFA, FATCA, CRS, etc.);

- You have relevant experience within a registered firm registered, preferably Portfolio Management;
- You can complete mandates within tight deadlines, and you are able to work on multiple projects simultaneously;

- You demonstrate rigor and organization, and you have an analytical and synthetic mindset;
- You demonstrate tactfulness and diplomacy while still communication your message clearly;
- You have strong ethical principles and a strong comprehension of the ethics of financial markets.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and in English (English is required to accomplish daily tasks).
