We are seeking an Analyst, Information Security to contribute to the evolution of our security strategy and to prioritize the implementation of key initiatives. Under the supervision of the Team Leader, Information Security, you will play an essential role in protecting our organization's confidential and sensitive information. This includes securing online and onsite infrastructure, monitoring day-to-day activity to identify irregularities and suspicious activity, and detecting and mitigating the risk of a breach. In the event of a breach, the analyst will be on the front line, advising and actively participating in the incident response effort to eradicate it and thus identify, contain, and facilitate recovery efforts. 
What you will do 
  • You monitor infrastructure activity using logs and analytics;
  • You assess attack surface and risk levels through vulnerability testing and analysis; 
  • You provide security guidance in the various stages of the procurement and deployment of systems and services; 
  • You advise and participate in responding to cyber incidents, identify the root cause and recommend corrective and preventive actions to apply; 
  • You maintain relevant documentation (i.e. policies, SOPS, IRP, etc.); 
  • You work in collaboration with external security partners and consultants. 
What you will need to succeed 
Experience and Knowledge 
  • You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in system administration (client and server workstations); 
  • You have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in network administration (Switch, Router, Firewall); 
  • You have a professional certification in information security (AZ-900, Security+, SSCP, GSEC, NSE 4, CCNA); 
  • You have an understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and guidelines such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001 and financial services industry regulations; 
  • You are well versed in the Microsoft ecosystem; 
  • Experience as a technology security specialist in networking, servers, databases, software development or other technical discipline will be considered an asset.

  • You possess a professional level of English and French, both written and spoken (English is a requirement to accomplish daily tasks).
