Do you want to participate in market growth and development while building client trust through effective communication? You’ll be at the heart of the action, positioning Addenda Capital in a constantly evolving environment. This is a challenge that suits you perfectly.
Reporting to the Executive Vice-President, Business Development and Client Partnerships, your primary responsibility will be to cultivate, develop and strengthen the institutional client market in Canada and globally, to support revenue and sales growth. You will promote Addenda’s investment solutions to prospective and existing clients while strategically positioning the organization to enhance its market visibility. . In addition, you will collaborate closely with the RFP and Client Experience teams, and other stakeholders to provide high-quality experience to our clients.
Your responsibilities
- Develop a yearly and long-term business development plan;
- Leverage your business networking skills to attract new business, increase revenue, and meet sales objectives;
- Present Addenda Capital’s strengths and communicate our value proposition to prospective clients;
- Play a pivotal role in client relations by developing deep relationships with existing clients;
- Monitor and analyze market data trends to identify business development opportunities and to connect with new prospects.
- Engage team members to improve their performance in terms of quality of service, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency;
- Participate in industry events to maintain an active presence in the business community;
Your profile
- Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in a similar role in the investment industry, primarily in institutional market;
- A proven track record for developing and executing sales strategies with institutional clients;
- Solid understanding of the institutional markets as well as in-depth insight into asset classes;
- Extensive investment knowledge of asset classes and the financial markets;
- CFA designation and meet the portfolio manager’s registration requirements (compulsory);
- Strong knowledge of sustainable investing.
