Description
ActioNet is hiring a Senior Help Desk Technician in Falls Church, VA. This position requires a Secret clearance.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 2/3 Help Desk support for HQ end users, resolving escalated incidents and service requests.
• Lead and mentor Help Desk Technicians, ensuring adherence to service desk procedures and standards.
• Oversee hardware deployment, peripheral installs, preventative maintenance, and printer mapping.
• Support imaging of end-user devices (EUDs) using SCCM task sequences and Windows lifecycle management.
• Ensure EUDs comply with STIG baselines, IAVM alerts, and zero-day patching requirements.
• Coordinate with the ISSO and cybersecurity staff on security-related issues and configuration changes.
• Support ServiceNow and MHS ticket management systems, ensuring tickets are tracked, escalated, and resolved within SLA.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues, coordinating with vendors when necessary.
• Support user onboarding and offboarding via DD2875 (SAAR) forms and the Virtual Check-In/Check-Out process.
• Document procedures, maintain license tracking, and provide input for IG inspections and audits.
Required Job Experience:
• 5–7 years of experience in Help Desk, Deskside, or End User Support roles in enterprise or DoD environments.
• Experience providing Tier 2/3 technical support, mentoring junior staff, and handling escalated incidents.
• Strong technical background in Windows OS, SCCM imaging, and enterprise device management.
• Familiarity with DHA/MHS IT environments, including ServiceNow ticketing, RMF, and cybersecurity compliance.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
Degree (Required or certifications below can be substituted in lieu of):
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Certification (Preferred one of the following in lieu of Required Degree):
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).
• HDI Support Center Analyst or HDI Desktop Support Technician.
• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
