Description

ActioNet is looking for a DevOps Engineer for the RMAS Program, located in Washington DC / Remote.

 

Summary: Responsible for configuration management activities developing, documenting and implementing Configuration Management within the DevOps context and CI/CD pipeline processes and procedures. Responsible for configuration planning, identifying, and maintaining the original configuration of requirements, design, and software and related documentation. Regulates the change process to make sure only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software. Tracks all problems, changes in product documents, software and reports changes, and current configuration. Supports audits to verify that the as-built software has met requirements of all baselines. Collaborate successfully with both Agile and Project teams including Agile Scrum Masters and Project and Technical leads.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience implementing CM policies, plans, and procedures
  • 5+ years of experience managing/maintaining applications or software development
  • 5+ years of experience leading/managing a team of professionals
  • Ability to plan and coordinate system configuration activities
  • Maintain configuration management documentations for reference purposes
  • Ability to think critically with the vision to work both tactically and strategically
  • Develop process improvements to enhance configuration efficiency
  • Ability to align and seamlessly integrate configuration and change management controls
  • Determine configuration requirements and develop system configuration procedures
  • Educate staff about configuration policies and practices
  • Assist in developing tools to support daily configuration management activities
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and agile environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members both orally and in written form.
  • Subject Matter Expert of JIRA, Bamboo, Git, Ansible Server/Tower
  • Subject Matter Expert of the CI/CD pipeline
  • Fluent in Linux Versions 6, 7
  • Fluent in Java
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Knowledge of Project Management
  • Detail-oriented and able to meet strict deadlines
  • Demonstrated history of working in enterprise level applications
  • Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines including integration with test automation, dependency/artifact management, and security tools
  • Experience deploying to cloud environments a plus
  • Support, develop, and implement CM procedures required to manage the planning, identification, controlling, auditing and status accounting of all CM products in accordance with the client’s CM services
  • Review, evaluate, recommend and implement new technology/enhancements to the CM tool and CM processes
