Senior Lead Network Engineer
Role Description
The Senior Lead Network Engineer provides technical leadership on major network tasks and technology assignments. This role is responsible for planning, designing, and implementing network infrastructure across the USCP enterprise, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity.
Salary:$105K-170K
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and implement WAN, LAN, and communications infrastructure.
- Perform system-level assessments and evaluate network technologies.
- Support secure connectivity and disaster recovery.
- Supervise network engineering staff.
- Be onsite at the Fairchild Building in Washington, DC three days per week.
Basic Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in networking.
- 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Base-level certification such as A+, Security+, or Network+.
- Core certification such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cisco and Aruba hardware.
- Knowledge of network design tools and disaster recovery planning.
