Description

ActioNet is seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead and manage an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, data warehousing, and a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and data management principles. This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of the EDW project on time, within scope, and within budget.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution - Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives.
  • Team Management - Lead a multidisciplinary project team, including data architects, developers, analysts, and QA specialists. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Budget and Resource Management - Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective use of resources. Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with the project.
  • Risk Management - Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Resolve project issues promptly to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including senior management, to provide project updates and status reports. Facilitate project meetings and presentations.
  • Quality Assurance - Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with industry best practices. Implement mechanisms for monitoring project progress and quality control.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project metrics and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Proven experience managing IT projects, specifically in data warehousing or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, ETL processes, and data warehousing technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with EDW tools and platforms (e.g., Oracle DBA/Admin Support, SAP Data Services Admin support, SAP Business Objects Admin Support, General UNIX Admin Support, Angular Java Support).
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality management Top of Formdevelopment methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps).
