Description
ActioNet is hiring a Help Desk Technician in Falls Church, VA. This position requires a Secret clearance.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 1 Help Desk support as the first point of contact for HQ end users.
• Respond to and resolve incidents, service requests, and trouble tickets through ServiceNow or other approved ITSM systems.
• Support end-user devices (EUDs) with setup, imaging, deployment, and configuration using SCCM task sequences.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and peripherals.
• Resolve routine issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity; escalate complex problems to higher-tier staff as needed.
• Ensure devices meet STIG baselines, apply IAVM alerts, and assist with security patching.
• Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, including SAAR-N (DD2875) forms and Virtual Check-In/Check-Out processes.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and preventive maintenance in compliance with ITACS standards.
• Provide professional customer service with clear communication and timely resolution.
• Support IG inspections and audits with documentation and ticketing reports.
Required Job Experience:
• 1–3 years of Help Desk or End User Support experience in enterprise or DoD environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools.
• Understanding of DoD IT environments, STIGs, and RMF compliance preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
Degree (Required or certifications below can be substituted in lieu of):
• Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Certification (Preferred one of the following in lieu of Required Degree):
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level I or II certification (e.g., A+, Network+, Security+).
• HDI Support Center Analyst certification.
• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
