Description
ActioNet is hiring a Senior Help Desk Technician in Jacksonville, FL. This position requires a Secret clearance.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 2/3 Help Desk support for DET JAX end users, resolving escalated incidents and service requests.
• Mentor and guide Help Desk Technicians to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain end-user devices (EUDs), peripherals, and printers in compliance with DoD standards.
• Perform device imaging using SCCM task sequences and manage Windows OS lifecycle activities.
• Ensure EUDs remain compliant with STIGs, IAVM alerts, and required security patches.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including SAAR-N (DD2875) forms and Virtual Check-In/Check-Out procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues, escalating as needed.
• Track and manage tickets in ServiceNow and MHS systems, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity staff and ISSO on security incidents, configuration changes, and compliance matters.
• Document technical procedures, maintain inventory records, and support IG inspections and audits.
Required Job Experience:
• 5–7 years of experience in Help Desk, Deskside, or End User Support roles in enterprise or DoD environments.
• Experience providing Tier 2/3 support and mentoring junior Help Desk staff.
• Strong technical skills with Windows OS, SCCM imaging, and enterprise device management.
• Familiarity with DoD IT environments, ServiceNow, RMF processes, and cybersecurity compliance.
• Proven troubleshooting ability, strong communication, and customer service orientation.
Degree (Required or certifications below can be substituted in lieu of):
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Certification (Preferred one of the following in lieu of Required Degree):
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).
• HDI Support Center Analyst or HDI Desktop Support Technician.
• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
