Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Manager
Job Summary:
The QA Manager will oversee Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities for the Securities Control Assessment (SCA) Testing Team. This role involves conducting Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) activities for large and complex General Support Systems, as well as Major and Non-Major applications, to ensure compliance with relevant objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control Reviews:
- Manage and conduct formal QC reviews on developed test plans (versions x.1 through x.4), modules, and post-SCA testing documentation.
- QA Procedures Oversight:
- Monitor and oversee QA procedures of the SCA Quality Team to meet critical service objectives outlined in the Performance Work Statement.
- Communication:
- Interface with the Project Manager (PM) and team leads to ensure effective communication with end users and stakeholder organizations.
- Deliverable Assessment:
- Lead the review and assessment of all project team deliverables for quality and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder communications.
- Quality Control Reviews:
- Conduct QC reviews throughout the SCA lifecycle, engaging with all stakeholder organizations.
- Training and Knowledge Transfer:
- Provide team member training and knowledge transfer in line with the SCA Team QC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- SOP Management:
- Manage and update QC SOPs, incorporating lessons learned from Testing Event activities and maintaining relevant QC documents (e.g., IFS).
- Audit Direction:
- Direct different types of audits professionally and objectively, using and interpreting applicable standards and requirements.
- Audit Planning and Execution:
- Plan, develop, and execute audits within defined scopes, including resource scheduling and conducting necessary meetings.
- Liaison with Quality Department:
- Coordinate with headquarters' Quality Department for independent audits, ensuring non-compliances are addressed.
- Audit Reporting:
- Verify, document, and communicate audit findings, develop audit reports, and evaluate the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Mentorship:
- Mentor audit team members, conduct interviews, and deliver presentations effectively.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of QA and QC processes and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in audit planning and execution.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in a QA management role.
- Familiarity with compliance objectives related to security assessments.
