Description

ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Configuration Management  (CM) Specialist  requiring a Secret clearance located in San Diego County, CA.. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense. In this role, you will be responsible for Network Automation and Cloud Services.

As the CM Specialist, your tasks will include:  
  • Conduct event records management. Identify, mark, record, and distribute
    media/artifacts in accordance with governing regulations.
  •  Conduct physical configuration audits on test and engineering network architectures
    using manual and automated discovery tools in accordance with the CM plan.
  • Document changes to test architecture. Identify and document changes during physical
    configuration audits or when notified by test/event director.
  • Input and manage test incident and problem reports using issue tracking software
    products.
  • Draft CM plans, documents, and reports using established templates in accordance with
    CM processes and procedures
  • Maintain CM Library (both physical and cloud storage) accurately tracking all
    items and data archives.
  • Maintain Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Intermediate level for Data Analyst Area-
    422.
  • Operate media reproduction equipment. Create labels, duplicate media from electronic
    sources, and file/archive in accordance with CM processes.
  • Proficient in oral and written communications.
  • Ability to create written plans and reports, processes and procedures, slides for briefing,
    and orally explain them to customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft O365 and ability to learn command-directed collaboration
    products.
  • Ability to function as an integral part of multiple test teams simultaneously while
    utilizing appropriate resources to accomplish CM objectives within established schedules.
  • Interact with customers providing guidance, recommendations, and solutions to questions
    or issues relating to configuration management.
Basic Qualifications:  
  • DoD Secret Clearance
  • Security+ CE
  • Two years’ experience in Information Technology.
  • Experience with CM software.
  • Experience with software tools used to track system issues.
Preferred Qualifications:   
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in IT Operations in relation to Systems & Network Architecture, and AI/ML environments.
  • Strong passion for quality assurance in development, including experience in finding, investigating, and fixing bugs.
  •  Excellent communication skills.
