Description

ActioNet is hiring a Senior Network Administrator in Falls Church, VA (HQ). This position requires a Secret clearance.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide Network Operations (NetOps) support, including maintenance and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, hubs, and external security stack appliances.
• Manage enterprise network resources such as print and file servers, local print queues, and Active Directory/Group Policy Objects within the site Organizational Unit (OU).
• Ensure Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) compliance and manage changes through the Configuration Control Board (CCB) process.
• Coordinate Med-COI network requirements and Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS) submissions.
• Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Authority to Operate (ATO) process by assisting local ISSOs/ISSMs.
• Provide Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 entitlement management, and MECM/SCCM distribution point support.
• Maintain near 100% operational reliability of network equipment through proactive monitoring, preventive maintenance, and patch management.
• Track/document all changes, provide input for IG inspections, and coordinate Authorized Scheduled Interruptions (ASI).
• Support enterprise-level directory services integration with Military Joint Active Directory (mJAD).
• Continually assess and optimize network performance to meet mission readiness requirements.

Required Job Experience:
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in network administration in enterprise or DoD environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in configuration, management, and troubleshooting of enterprise LAN/WAN environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Hands-on experience with DoD STIGs, RMF processes or similar networks.
• Experience with enterprise-level email (Exchange, O365), MECM/SCCM, and endpoint management.
• Strong background supporting high-availability network operations with emphasis on cybersecurity compliance.

Degree (Required or certifications below can be substituted in lieu of):
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Certification (Preferred one of the following in lieu of Required Degree):
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or III certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, CASP+, CISSP).
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server/Active Directory or Microsoft 365 Administrator.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher.
