Security Operations Center Program Manager | Req#2754
ActioNet is looking for a Security Operations Center Program Manager to manage a federal 24x7x365 Security Operations Center (SOC). The SOC PM will provide leadership and guidance to all SOC personnel, develop technical and procedural capabilities, and be the primary point of contact for all contractual matters.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and broad knowledge base in IT Security and will have significant experience working at a management level in Security Operations. Experience managing the cost, schedule, and technical requirements of federal contracts is also required. The PM will have hands-on technical experience, coupled with leadership and managerial experience in a fast-paced 24x7x365 environment. The PM will act as the liaison and subject matter expert in cyber security and promote the SOC to its customers, as needed. The PM may be called upon to give briefings to Executive Management community and to potential Federal sector customers of the SOC. The PM must have extensive knowledge in response, detection, and SOC services and must be prepared to design and implement innovative technology and process improvements. The PM will recommend technologies and processes to enhance situational awareness and efficiency. The PM will lead large tasks within the SOC to ensure successful and on-time delivery.

- Technical knowledge of Host-based and Network-based intrusion detection • SIEM content development • Anti-malware technologies • Content Firewall • Help Desk Systems Management • Data Visualization • Digital Forensics • SOAR
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Bachelor’s degree
- PMP and CISSP
- Must have 10+ years related IT security experience with 7+ years in a project or program management roll
- Must be a US citizen with, or can obtain, a government security clearance
- Strong understanding of a broad range of IT Security
- Master’s degree or higher
- GCIA, GCIH, GCFA
