Description

ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Change and Configuration Management Specialist, requiring a Public Trust clearance, in the Washington DC area. Hybrid work available 2 days/week onsite, subject to change.

In this role, you will ensure cohesiveness between all Tiers, develop, execute process improvements, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.  The right candidate will work well with a team, exhibit excellent customer service skills, and be self-motivated, seeking ways to improve the environment. 

Responsibilities:
  • Perform Change and Configuration Management functions in the SharePoint KSN forms and in ServiceNow, the ticketing system.
  • Develop ITIL-focused Change and Configuration Management processes and procedures.
  • Integrate Change and Configuration Management processes.
  • Perform quality assurance/quality control on Change Requests.
  • Attend meetings and take minutes for incorporation into official agendas and Change Requests.
Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field and 8 years of IT experience, or 14 years of IT experience.
  • Certification in ITIL v4 or v3. 
  • Experience with ITIL-focused IT Change and Configuration Management procedures, goals, and principles.
  • Experience developing process and procedure documents.
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
  • Experience tracking and resolving incidents via ticket queue.
  • Experience integrating Change Control with Configuration Management processes.
  • Experience managing data.
  • Experience validating deliverable quality prior to submission.
  • Experience collaborating in a team setting, communicating and driving performance with a range of colleagues.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated to take ownership of projects.
Skills Preferred:
  • Experience working with a large organization (>35,000 customers).
  • Experience collaborating with peer and client teams.
  • Experience working remotely and onsite.
