Job Description:
As a Systems Architect/Network Engineer at ActioNet, you will be responsible for serving as the systems architect, overseeing the improvement, optimization, and design of our network infrastructure. You will work on complex issues, troubleshoot problems to resolution, and provide technical expertise to ensure the efficiency and reliability of our network systems. Your role will involve interacting with customers and partners, coordinating with team members, and providing leadership in the design and development of new systems. You will also recommend optimizations and improvements to all infrastructure components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the systems architect for improving and optimizing the current network infrastructure and designing the next-generation infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot highly complex problems to resolution.
  • Lead the team in the design and development of new network systems.
  • Interact with customers and partners in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless network operations.
  • Maintain situational awareness of all major issues within the enterprise.
  • Provide input and recommendations into the design phase and successfully execute requirements.
  • Recommend and implement optimizations and improvements to all network infrastructure components.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Greater than twelve (12) years of experience with planning, designing, and installing Local Area Networks (LAN) to include Layer 2 and Layer 3 for Enterprise data center solutions or front-end web load balancing.
  • Must have one or more certifications:
    • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or equivalent.
    • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA) is recommended.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
