AV/VTC Engineer, Senior | Req#3294
Description
ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Senior AV/VTC Engineer. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense. This position must be supported on-site in Honolulu, HI.
Salary Range: $138K-$145K
Join our dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable AV/VTC Video Display Wall solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Gathers and analyzes system requirements to design and implement AV/VTC Video Display Wall solutions that are secure and scalable.
- Develops, designs, configures, and implements A/V VTC systems based on the customer’s performance criteria and specifications (C.5.2.2)
- Conduct site Surveys and network assessments to determine the best hardware and software components for AV Systems and Video Wall upgrades to ensure the system is reliable, efficient, and secure, to include ISP cabling, power, HVAC. (C.5.2.3)
- Develops Preliminary Engineering Implementation Plan and Site Survey Reports (C.5.2.2)
- Develop a List of Materials (LOM) to capture all major components and installation materials to ensure successful deployment of systems.
- Develops System Design Plans (SDP) and Engineering Implementation Plans (EIP) (C.5.2.4)
- Ensures network solutions are in compliance with all pertinent Army policies and establish compliant IT system integrations.
- Assists Information Assurance (IA) Team in providing cyber security artifacts for Authority to Operate (ATO) process (C.5.5)
- Provide Post-Deployment Over-the-Shoulder Training to the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) team to ensure a smooth transition of the AV/VTC Video Wall systems.
- Leads and oversees installation and installation teams
- Assists the O&M Teams in troubleshooting network-related issues post-deployment of the new systems.
- Assists with the TDP development (C.5.1.9)
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- 8-12 years experience
