Description

ActioNet is looking for a Knowledge Base Management System Support. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government.      
As the Knowledge Base Management System Support, you will be responsible for tracking change schedules for each service, conducting post-implementation reviews, and keeping stakeholders updated. Simultaneously, the responsibility extends to developing a knowledge base, creating documents, and crafting training materials for all work performed. Furthermore, the role requires engagement with business and IT executives to discover and document current business processes, identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.       
Basic Qualifications:      
  • Public Trust clearance will be required to start, sponsorship available.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience up to 3+ years in Project Management in support of application development projects.
  • Knowledge of document publishing tools including advanced Microsoft (MS) Word, Adobe PDF and PowerPoint functions, and document templates and styles.
  • Knowledge of graphics development tools including Visio.
  • Develop and update documentation for the team.
  • Potentially develop PowerPoint presentations.
  • Design and write technical illustrations as needed to facilitate understanding of technical material and upon customer request.
  • Develop other documentations as requested by the customer.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with technical personnel and to derive technical design details for technical publications.
  • Familiarity with drafting application deployment plans
Preferred Qualifications:      
  • High proficiency in English writing, grammar/usage.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce quality documents within compressed schedules.
  • Demonstrates ability to translate complex business and system concepts for communication to diverse audiences and to perform business process analysis and accurately capture process information for use within documentation products.
  • Can provide team members with MS Word and Excel problem-solving support.
