Description

ActioNet is hiring for a System Administrator/Operator in Saint Louis, MO. This position requires a Secret clearance.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide Tier 1–2 system administration support, including server operations, operating system maintenance, and application support.
• Administer Active Directory accounts, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and integrate with the Military Joint Active Directory (mJAD).
• Support enterprise patch management, imaging, and configuration management using SCCM/MECM.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to server hardware, applications, and network connectivity.
• Ensure all systems remain compliant with DoD STIGs and assist with RMF ATO documentation in coordination with the ISSO.
• Provide preventative maintenance, software installation, and hardware upgrades in line with DOD standards.
• Track and document system configurations, changes, and maintenance actions.
• Support IG inspections, assist with Authorized Scheduled Interruptions (ASI), and ensure proper coordination.
• Deliver local end-user support, including device replacements, printer mapping, and troubleshooting.

Required Job Experience:
• 3–5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Operator in enterprise IT environments, preferably DoD or DHA networks.
• Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and GPO management.
• Experience with SCCM/MECM patch management, system builds, and deployments.
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity standards including STIGs, RMF, and system hardening practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving experience across servers, networks, and applications.

Degree (Required or certifications below can be substituted in lieu of):
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Certification (Preferred one of the following in lieu of Required Degree):
• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security).
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator or Microsoft 365 Certified.
• CompTIA Network+ or Server+.
