ACCO Brands is seeking a Marketing Intern - Product & Brand to join our team part time in the fall of 2021. The Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to support the day-to-day marketing activities for our Swingline, Quartet, GBC and/or TruSens brands as part of the Global Marketing group. The invaluable learning experience, knowledge, and skills you develop will set the foundation for your future career.



  • Support critical day to day business activities of marketing managers including financial analysis and business models for ROI. 
  • Assist in critical research projects for product positioning and new product development.
  • Perform competitive analysis including pricing, product positioning, specifications and go to market activities.
  • Mines industry and user data for new insights for the business, products, and market(s)
  • Assistance with ongoing projects that require gathering data from the cross-functional teams along with the development of the action plans for project execution.
  • Product portfolio/life-cycle management - assist with SKU rationalization, product positioning and competitive strategy; Evaluates product portfolio performance and profitability.




  • No prior marketing experience is required; however, we do look for candidates who have a proven track record of success in balancing academics, employment, and extracurricular activities.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, or a similar field.
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (4.0 scale).
  • Ability to commit to a one-year internship, working full-time (40 hours) during the summer and part-time (minimum 15 hours) during the school year.
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint required).
  • Ability to organize and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Sound analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
