We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team in Rockland County. This is a unique opportunity to work in the community, providing psychiatric and medical care to individuals living with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders.
As part of a multidisciplinary, mobile team, the RN delivers health assessments, education, and treatment in participants’ homes and community settings. The role includes administering medications, providing health education, coordinating care with the ACT psychiatrist and team, and supporting participants in achieving their recovery goals through a person-centered, trauma-informed approach.
Qualifications:
- Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license and registration required
- Experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Valid NYS driver’s license required
- Bilingual (Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Yiddish) a plus
