Location: Middletown, NY   
Hours: M-F 830 am to 5 pm   
Rate of Pay: $16.00   
Job Description:   
Orange County Healthy Families is seeking a Secretary to support program with daily operations.  The responsibilities of this position include daily data entry, copying and organizing documents and records, office inventory and supporting program staff with preparing for visits. This position can be fast paced at times and requires excellent customer service skills to respond to the needs of the people we serve and our staff.    
The ideal candidate for this position should be well organized, detail oriented and self-motivated. Applicant should possess Microsoft and Excel skills, knowledge of Outlook and Outlook calendar and strong computer abilities.    
   
In this position you will:   
  •  Answer and screen calls   
  •  Assist program staff and leadership   
  •  Type memos, minutes, and reports   
  •  Complete data entry, filing, and scheduling   
  •  Track items for follow-up   
  •  Order office supplies   
  •  Perform other duties as assigned   
            
Qualifications:    
  •  Requires a minimum of 2 years of related office experience   
  •  Strong computer skills   
  •  Bilingual English and Spanish speaking a plus
