Salary: $62,400 LP or $65,000 (LMHC, LMSW or LMFT)

Position Summary: We are looking for a psychotherapist to support our participants in our dual-licensed OMH/OASAS MAT program. Integrated MAT Opioid Treatment services are provided by an interdisciplinary team responsible for: comprehensive diagnostic assessments; participant-centered care planning; health assessments and physicals; clinical excellence and evidence-based interventions; individual, family and group therapy; psychiatric evaluations; medication management; MAT treatment (Methadone and Suboxone); linkages to additional services and care; and successful achievement of participant-determined outcomes.   

Responsibilities:   

• Responsible for a caseload of approximately 60 participants.
• Individual therapy, family/couples therapy and group therapy.
• Timely, accurate, and complete documentation in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to ensure compliance.
• Attends Supervision as scheduled with the Program Director
• Attends weekly IDT meetings.
• Preforms other duties as needed to ensure the success of the program.

Qualifications:   

• Professional licensure (LMSW, LCSW or LMHC)  LP accepted as a minimum qualification.
• Understanding and experience with OASAS documentation requirements, including intake and assessment, medical necessity, treatment planning and clinical interventions from the start of the treatment through termination.
• At least 2-3 years’ experience within in the Substance use field preferably in Methadone Maintenance; other addictions, complex trauma and psychosocial stressors of poverty, abuse, abandonment, grief/loss, foster care, low/no literacy, and criminal justice involvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• Working familiarity with EMR’s.
• Positive attitude and demeanor with an ability to engage individuals of diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and needs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with regulatory agencies, personnel, community stakeholders, participants /families.

Nice to Haves:   

• Bilingual Spanish speaking a plus
• CASAC-T or CASAC a plus

Travel Requirements: Less than 10%
