    Job Description/Requirements:

As a Senior Reporting and Analytics Analyst you will:

  • Develop, prepare and present specialized reports, dashboards, forecasts, profitability analysis, pricing analysis, other ad-hoc projects and complex data models.
  • Review month-end financial reports, construct financial projections, provide variance analysis, research financial irregularities and use the analysis to develop meaningful strategic reporting.
  • Analyze data and provide solutions/recommendations in response to anticipated and unanticipated fluctuations in the company’s business (payor mix, rate vs. volume, labor utilization & productivity, etc.)
  • Provide decision support for Senior Management, Finance, Sales, Operations management, Strategic Partnerships, Managed Care Contracts, and essential business improvement
  • Lead and/or individually conduct ad hoc projects requiring data & financial analysis, mapping in 3rd party data sources, and presentation with a focus on insights and solutions
  • Enhance the content and create intuitive designs/layouts for company dashboards, presentations and reports
  • Critical thinking to translate business needs into specific goals, actions and deliverables.
  • Develop models/process data to directly support and drive business strategy and the planning process within the company

Requirements of Qualified Candidates

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • At least three (3) years directly related work experience involving big data analysis, financial planning, or and the application of BI tools and processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Comfortable with large, complex data sets that require pulling from multiple platforms and develop comprehensive reports
  • Advanced experience with Excel and ability to leverage BI tools such as Qlik, Tableau, Power BI to drive deep analytical insights and understanding of business trends
  • Excellent communication skills including experience presenting findings directly to leadership
  • Results and resolution-oriented and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Critical thinking to translate business needs into specific goals, actions and deliverables.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of the operational, technological and clinical aspects of healthcare is desired
  • Prior healthcare experience in post-acute care including home health or hospice a plus
