The SEM Manager will join Abt to lead paid search from strategic planning, investment and partner management perspectives. You will support the process of bringing the paid search function in-house at Abt, partnering closely with other leaders within the digital marketing team. You should bring a fresh perspective on how the SEM operation could evolve as an in-house team, and own the strategy of the channel. You will build relationships with external search partners including technologies to manage and optimize campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing SEM functions for Paid Search and Shopping campaigns
  • Catalog feed optimization
  • Campaign development, bid strategy, optimization and channel management.
  • Overseeing the execution and resources associated with all SEM campaigns
  • Analyze the full customer journey and attribution reports
  • Develop A/B testing strategies
  • Research and identify customer segments for targeted digital campaigns
  • Manage, organize, and present KPI reporting across Google and Bing
  • Be a key member on the digital marketing team while working directly with the Director of Digital Marketing

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in search engine marketing required
  • Bachelors in Marketing, Business, Economics, Finance or related field
  • Strong quantitative skills required to analyze and optimize campaign performance
  • Deep understanding of key digital marketing metrics (CPA, CPC, CPM, AOV, LTV, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and Adwords required
  • Expert in Excel and comfortable learning new business intelligence and vendor reporting tools
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a data driven team
  • Retail experience required
