Director, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships
Description
In this role, you will be responsible for driving significant revenue growth from net new partner acquisitions. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and self-directed individual that can create and execute partnership strategies that result in accelerated partner licensing growth. This role reports to the Senior Vice President, Business Development & Global Alliances.
- Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the company's growth objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential strategic partners that can enhance our market position and product offerings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at target partners, including C-level executives and senior management
- Negotiate and close strategic partnership deals that drive revenue growth and expand our customer base
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful implementation and execution of partnerships
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new partnership opportunities
- Develop and manage a pipeline of potential partners and business opportunities using CRM (Salesforce)
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential partners and internal stakeholders
- 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales in the cybersecurity industry
- Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and closing strategic partnerships with cybersecurity industry leaders
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute data-driven business development strategies
- Willingness to travel as needed for meetings and events
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving growth and success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
The OTE range for this position is from $215,000 - $225,000 annually; the OTE includes a variable commission component, and the pay offered is determined by the market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
