Our Sales Development team is at the front line of the business with our Sales Development Reps (SDRs) responsible for driving interest in Absolute and initiating the sales cycle.  In this role you will be working with our Account Executives to research and build pipeline in new and existing accounts.  You will follow up on both inbound and outbound opportunities and leveraging your outstanding communication and critical thinking skills you will be able to quickly assess opportunities and ensure that meetings with appropriate account personas are secured for our Account Executives to follow up on.  You’ll drive revenue growth from new account acquisitions, as well as drive expansion & cross-sell opportunities with existing customers.
 
We’re looking for professionals with strong organizational and follow up skills who work well in a team environment.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Identify and prioritize prospects, researching, and defining the customer’s current IT situation, challenges, and needs.
  • Engage prospective clients via phone, email, and social media to deliver Absolute’s unique value propositions to the targeted contacts
  • Schedule qualified meetings for Sales through cold calling and strategic outreach that convert into pipeline opportunities
  • Help build and prioritize strategic account lists within a defined segment.
  • Build and maintain alignment and positive partnerships with the internal Field Sales and Marketing teams
  • Participate in virtual and/or in-person events as needed

  • 0-6 months of professional experience (entry level)

The Canada based compensation for this position is CAD $70,000 OTE annually (80/20 split); the base pay offered is determined by the market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our annual bonus program.
