Cloud DevOps Engineer

Absolute Software is looking for a cloud focused Devops Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. This team member will participate in designing, managing, and supporting Absolute’s Secure Access Cloud Solution.
Your responsibilities:
- Design, implement, manage scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure
- Design, implement, manage automation tooling for routine operation tasks
- Work with engineering and facilitate the integration of new features and products
- Attend to day to day trouble tickets as well as project workloads
- Participate in the team’s rotating on-call
- Participate in team activities such as peer code reviews and design collaboration efforts
Your skills:
- Microsoft Azure cloud management
- Familiarity or experience with cloud networking and VPN routing
- Experience and knowledge in Microsoft Windows server administration
- Experience with Managed Kubernetes services in the cloud
- Experience with Python
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with protocol level proxy behavior
- 5+ years of documented related industry experience
Additional considerations given to candidates with one or more of the following:
- Cloud network engineering and related experience
- Gitlab, Jenkins Server, or other CI/CD pipelining tool
- Experience with Ansible
- GIT experience
- BA in Computer Science, Computer Network Management, or related field
- Comfortable working in both Linux and Windows environments
- Familiarity with the TCP/UDP suite and protocol level behavior
The Canada base pay range for this position is from CAD $120,000 - $127,000 annually; the base pay offered is determined by the market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our annual bonus program.
