This position will give you exposure to cutting edge technologies, with plenty of opportunities to learn. This position is based in Austin, providing help and support for employees located around the world. Our newly renovated Austin office is located at The Domain. The position reports to the IT Helpdesk Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal employees requiring IT support
  • Managing a queue of support tickets, ensuring SLAs are met, best practices are followed, and end-users are thrilled with your service
  • Installing/upgrading/replacing laptops, phones, and peripherals
  • Working on project-related tasks
  • Assisting with IT-related documentation tasks
  • Keeping IT hardware and software inventories organized and up to date
  • Providing occasional after-hours support, as a member of the on-call rotation

What You Will Bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an IT support role
  • Solid understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems, Android/iOS mobile phones, and Microsoft Office (including Office 365)
  • Experience with an IT ticketing system, Active Directory, and Exchange administration
  • Familiarity with SCCM, MDM solutions, antivirus, asset tracking, encryption, SharePoint & OneDrive, VOIP phones, VPNs, LAN/WAN, conferencing solutions, and communication/chat tools preferred
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies and processes
  • Ability to research and troubleshoot problems
  • Formal IT training and/or education
  • Certifications, such as MCP or A+ preferred, but not required
  • Great verbal and written communication skills; hard working with a positive “can do” attitude
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills; works well in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Willingness to ask other team members for help when required
  • Good Word documentation skills
  • Self-starter, with strong attention to detail, able to adhere to strict company policies, procedures, and checklists
