The Business Applications team is seeking a Salesforce Developer that will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of customization changes to Absolute’s Salesforce instances. This position will work closely with local QA Engineers and the remaining Business Applications Team in India & North America to deliver sound and reliable systems at Absolute.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Both declarative and imperative customization of multiple Salesforce instances
  • Participate in the entire life cycle of application development using agile methodology
  • Collaborate with North American based Business Analyst to understand business requirements
  • Collaborate with North American based Dev Team to understand software development lifecycle and customization guidelines
  • Collaborate with local QA Team to ensure bug free feature delivery
  • Collaborate with India based Salesforce Administrator to deploy changes across environments and into production
  • Create and maintain well-written technical documentation
  • Assist in investigation of bug reports received via HelpDesk & JIRA tickets
  • Provide production system support in local time zone to help improve the team’s overall support coverage
  • Protect the security and privacy of Absolute and its customers
  • Other duties as assigned by management
    Desired Skills & Experience
    • Good English oral and written communication skills
    • At least one Salesforce declarative certification (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder)
    • At least one Salesforce imperative certification (Platform Developer I/II, Integration Architect, System Architect)
    • Object and entity modelling on Force.com platform
    • Understanding of overall Salesforce Lead-To-Cash process
    • Experience in object-oriented programming (preferably c#)
    • Experience in using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
    • Experience using source control (GitLab)
    • Experience in the following areas: software design, relational database fundamentals, database design methodologies, SQL/SOQL and Internet/Web technologies
    • Experience with web application security specifically
    • Good working knowledge of hardware, networking and the implications of cloud-based solutions
    • Experience in configuring Salesforce CPQ is a bonus
     Education and Professional Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related discipline
    • 1-3 years proven development experience in the aforementioned environments
