Inside Sales Representative, State & Local Government
Description
The successful candidate can work remotely across the US or Canada, but those located near one of our Corporate Offices in Austin, TX or Vancouver, CA will be prioritized.
You will be responsible for driving interest in Absolute Security, initiating and maintaining the pipeline, and building outbound prospect lists, growing new and incremental revenue. You will be working with our State & Local Government (SLG) Field Account Executives and the partner ecosystem, to research and build the pipeline in new and existing accounts. You’ll drive revenue growth from new account acquisitions and foster expansion & cross-sell opportunities with existing customers.
You will form part of our core SLG team, driving new engagements at all levels, with a clear focus in driving deals to completion in partnership with the field Account Executives. You will also own internal sales operations including pipeline management, pricing and quoting, pipeline generation, and channel enablement initiatives.
Responsibilities will include:
- Identify and prioritize prospects, researching, and defining the customer’s current IT situation, challenges, and needs
- Be creative in engaging prospective clients via phone, email, and social media to deliver Absolute’s unique value propositions to the targeted contacts
- Schedule qualified meetings for yourself and the SLG team and be able to hold key conversations with prospects and customers
- Build and maintain alignment and positive partnerships with the SLG Sales, Channel, Partner ecosystem and Marketing teams
- Participate in virtual and/or in-person events as needed
- Protect the security and privacy of Absolute and its customers
