Location: Danbury, CT
Positions Available: 2 (BCBA or Behavioral Supports Clinician)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM (Flexible)
Starting Salary: BSC: $45,240 / year with 1 year experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovative Strategy Design: Develop and implement creative behavioral support strategies tailored for individuals in our group homes.
  • Individualized Behavioral Plans: Create and oversee specialized plans for those with developmental disabilities and mental health needs.
  • Developmental Disabilities and Autism Leadership: Lead support plan development for individuals with Developmental Disabilities and provide staff education.
  • Clinical Documentation Excellence: Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in accordance with best practices.
  • Collaborative Planning: Partner with families, treatment providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Intake and Discharge Participation: Engage in intake and discharge processes to promote positive outcomes for individuals.
  • Team Engagement: Collaborate with a dynamic team committed to creating a vibrant and supportive community.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field; candidates pursuing post-graduate degrees considered. BCBA preferred. Someone with ABA experience on track for a BCBA is also considered.
  • Minimum two years of experience working with mental health populations.
  • Combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Ability to balance autonomy with effective teamwork.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resilience in managing diverse interaction styles.
