Location: Greater Danbury, CT area 
  
Shifts Available:
  • Evenings (2nd Shift) Thursday- Saturday
  • Overnights (3rd Shift) Thursday- Saturday
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma, a valid driver's license, and a personal vehicle. 
  
Pay Rate: $ 20.50 - $ 21 / hour    
  
Responsibilities:    
  
In this position, our direct care staff will be responsible for providing reinforcement and relief to a designated group of programs that have been determined to require enhanced support. This position will require rotating working shifts at several different locations in the Greater Danbury area. You will:
  • Work with people with developmental/intellectual and physical disabilities in a residential group home 
  • Help adults with disabilities with daily living such as cooking, cleaning, and hands-on care 
  • Assist with transportation needs for people to and from appointments or on outings 
  • Immerse people with disabilities into the community to participate in work and volunteer activities such as attending sporting events or participating in recreational activities 
  • Assist with positive behavior reinforcement, goal planning, and socialization skills 
  • Ensure proper electronic and physical documentation of daily individualized case notes 
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team that includes nurses, behaviorists, & nutritionists

Qualifications:     
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  • Valid Driver’s License is required 
  • A personal vehicle 
  • Willingness to learn 
  • Minimum of 1-year previous experience
